Tiny Octopus Pattern

Here is the written pattern for the tiny octopus I just posted about on my YouTube!

What You Will Need:
Worsted Weight (4) Yarn, 4 mm hook, stitch marker, yarn needle, scissors 10 mm safety eyes and polyfil.
Key:
SC - Single Crochet
Ch - Chain
INC - Increase
DEC - Decrease
HDC - Half Double Crochet
SlSt - Slip Stitch
MR - Magic Ring
Head
Round 1: SC 6 into the MR (6)
Round 2: INC in every stitch around. (12)
Round 3: SC in first stitch, INC in the next stitch. (18)
Round 4: SC in first 2 stitches, INC in the next stitch. (24)
Round 5: SC in first 3 stitches, INC in the next stitch. (30)
Round 6 - Round 10: SC in every stitch around (30) - 5 Rounds -
**You will attach you safety eyes around Round 8/9, about 3/4 stitches apart**
Round 11: SC in the first 3 stitches, DEC in the next stitch. (24)
Round 12: DEC in every stitch around. (12)
Round 13: DEC in every stitch around. (6)
Fasten off with a SlSt, and weave you tail through the FRONT LOOPS of Round 13.
Pull tight and weave in your ends.
Tentacles
Round 1: SC 8 into the MR, join with a SlSt (8)
Round 2: Ch 14
Round 3: HDC 2 into the second Ch from the hook, HDC 3 into all the remaining chains, SlSt into the next SC to anchor the tentacle.
Round 4 - Round 10: Repeat Rounds 2 and 3 to create the next 7 tentacles, 8 in total.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Weave in your ends into the head.
ASSEMBLY
Using the tail from the tentacles, sew around the edge of the tentacles and the bottom of the head.

CONGRATULATIONS!
You just made your very own little Octopus friend!
Now go on and try it out with all kinds of yarn and see what fun color combinations you can come up with!
